The blossoming of the "Rose de Cherbourg" district
Located in Paris La Défense, the "Rose de Cherbourg" district is undergoing a deep metamorphosis, including notably the YouFirst residence tower, whose facades were designed by RFR. Located at the foot of the Hekla Tower, this student residence is a project by Ateliers Jean Nouvel for which RFR provided its expertise on the building envelope, in particular, on the facades, cladding and the thin frame of solar protection elements.
The building is a 70-meter-high tower housing more than 400 student accommodation over 20 floors as well as shops. GECINA completed the project in 2019.
The upcoming arrival of its neighbor, the Hekla Tower, in 2022, will complete the revitalization of this neighborhood.
