The Grande Arche reveals its new envelope
RFR is the project leader for the renovation of the interior facade and gables of the North Wall of the Grande Arche.
After dismantling the last elevating platforms, the North Wall of the Grande Arche displays its renovated façades: new granite on the gables, new aluminium cover and frame on the interior façade. The final operation consisted in replacing the simple glazings on the façade of the hall with insulating glazing of more than 5m high.
The original VEC facade design is respected and the stainless steel frame is conserved. All that remains is the finishes and the low triangles of the gables at the connection with the arches to let the monument completely renovated.
