Works are ending for the Pont de Flandres offices
The Pont de Flandres construction site started in January 2018, and delivery of the building is scheduled for the end of 2019.
The building covers an area of 8600m² with 7 floors and 1 basement, and is entirely made in BIM.
The main structure is composed of various materials; he frame, floor, posts and beams are made of wood, and the central cages are made out of concrete mix. The veneered standing joint cladding that will cover the entire building is made of zinc.
The location of the site, close to the SNCF tracks, as well as the dense urban environment are an important challenge for the project, especially considering the relatively short lead times.
The building will host the offices of the Urssaf.
